When life gives you lemons.. You make Beef Stew!
Sorry for not posting about yesterday. I came back at around.. 3.45am? So I figured that I'll post it whenever I wake up.
Yesterday was a great day, we had alot of fun, met up with our long-lost partners-in-crime. Here's what happened. Warning though, I can predict that this will be a long post. So, have fun reading it!
The original plan was to meet at 12pm SHARP at Pasir Ris MRT Station. So me, ALWAYS being late, decided to wake up early. Since I take like.. an hour to get ready.. I woke up, switched on the computer, and went to brush my teeth. I,then, Youtube'd till like.. 11plus? I managed to research more about the band: Skillet. Apparently, it seems that they're a christian band! Though their music sounds like Linkin Park at times. I heard some of their music on Youtube, and they were pretty good. So I went to 'GET' some of their songs online, and I was stuck to their songs ever since. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still in love with We the Kings. :D
So, Kelvin & me made plans to meet before we went off to the MRT Station. I was kinda late by.. 10 mins? Surprisingly, Kelvin didn't nag at all. Maybe it's because he was stuck to his PSP like glue.. iunno. Anyway, we made our way to Whitesands on foot, in the scorching and torturing heat. It was only a 5min walk from where we were and we're already sweating like PIGS. DAMNZ-A-DING-DONG. ANYWAY, when we arrived in Whitesands, we got the word that Daph has already reached, so we went to meet her, and made our way to McDonalds to sit.
We went up to the second floor, found a place, and sat. We did lotsa talking, about nonsense, and about Daphane's boyfriend and such.. After which, Edmund arrived, then Jet, then Wei En, then Jasmine. Since most of us were there, we then made our way to the MRT Station, meeting Merv along the way. Tapped in.. blahza-ding-dong.. then we saw Ching Huat @ the second floor.. blahza-ding-dong.. rode all the way to Outram, stopped, took the opposite train.. BLAHBALHLBALHLLLL-DING-DONG. AND FINALLY, we arrived in Vivo City. It was kinda my second-time there.. But everything seemed so familiar, like i've been there for like.. a million times. Anyway, we went straight to GV, and saw a LLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG line. Since the girls had such a lazy attitude and such.. they decided to queue up for us, while we, the boys, clearly the more clever ones, went to Challenger to look around, Kelvin needed to get a mouse. Although you can get mouse's at petshops, but whatever.. (Get it?) So me and Merv, both owning a console, went to look for.. you guessed it.. GAMES. Note to self though: Don't buy games from Challenger. They're FRIGGIN' EXPENSIVE. Its like.. 80 bucks for a crappy game. Just cause its new, doesn't mean they have the right to sell it at such a expensive price.
Though, they were selling Gears of War 1 @ 35 bucks. So I persuaded Merv to get it, since its such a nice game and all.. Iunno, maybe he's gonna buy it? Yeah so.. After the looking around and such.. We recieved a call from Jasmine saying that they bought the tickets. So we made our way out, and started to calculate about who owes how much money and such. After which we headed to the arcade. NOTE TO SELF AGAIN: DO NOT PLAY POOL @ VIVO'S ARCADE. Its amazing how the cushions of the pool table were able to MOVE. The table looked like it came back from the war, the cues looked like they were shoved up somebody's ass, and the balls.. well, you get the point.
We kinda played like.. 2v2, so we occupy less time. I partnered Merv, while Ching Huat partnered with Jerome.. and Kelvin with Jet. (I think.) So we played, and played, it was kinda hard though, the pocket's guards thingies (Iunno whats it called.) were dropping off everytime we scored a ball in them. So it WASN'T a pleasant game. After pool, the cost was like.. 9+? Since it's divided among us 6, we each, only had to pay like.. 1.40? So, it wasn't so bad.. Anyway, after that horrible experience, we went ahead to our movie.
We watched a movie called: Ghost of Girlfriend's Past.
Yeah, it was a GOOOD show. I seriously thought it was a major rip-off. But it was actually really really good. It made me WANNA cry, TWICE mind you.
Anyway, after the movie, we went to the toilet, finished up my Mango Snapple. We made our way back to Pasir Ris, stopping by Candy Empire. Merv.. being him, bought like.. TONS of sweets. It looks like he was going for a camp or something.
Shoutout to Merv: You better lay low on the sweets brah, or else you'll NEVER get your braces off. Lmao.
So, we took the MRT. While we were in the MRT, Ching Huat introed us this WEIRDLY but AMAZINGLY fun hand game. Its something like.. "Chi-Kou-Pah" But its something different. So me, Ching Huat, Edmund & Jerome were playing it from Outram ALLL the way to Pasir Ris, yes it was THAT fun. So we stopped @ Pasir Ris, tapped out, and went to the nearby Pasar Malam. Bought some nonsense, and made our way to E!HUB. To.. PLAY POOL, DUHHHHZA-DING-DONG. Upon arrival, we met ZX and we noticed that the pool centre was FRIGGIN' PACKED. So we waited, while the girls went to the arcade. After like.. 30 mins, we managed to get a table. And then, we played like.. 2v2 again.
Shoutout to Ching Huat: YOUR GOOD! We should sooo totally play again sometime, and thanks for teaching me a thing or two about Pool.
Yeah, after afew games, the girls came back from their gaming-frenzy. And they went all photo-frenzy with us, WHILE WE WERE PLAYING MIND YOU. So they were like.. shouting and screaming like: TAKE PICTURE, COME COME. Lol, I had lotsa fun though. So after afew peektures, the girls decided to ditch us, leaving the guys alone to carry on with our game of Pool. We played like.. 2 Hours? And the total cost was: $24. Splitted among us, is.. $4 per person. Cheap eh? So after our game, we proceeded to the toilet to wash our hands, and finally, we said our goodbyes to Jet & Ching Huat. Leaving me, Merv & ZX. (The Three Amigos.) Then, us three headed to 24hr CoffeeExpress to have our late night dinner! I ordered a bowl of Fried Fish Meat soup with Milk along with a bowl of rice @ $3.50. It wasn't so bad, maybe I'm too used to it, because I've been ordering it like.. almost everytime I eat there. Anyways, we ate, and we had a amusing conversation about.. a person.
After which, we headed back towards my place cause thats where Merv usually goes to go home. And since there were no buses, ZX decided to tag along with us. In the end, we talked & talked till about.. 3.15am? We talked about alot of stuff, like.. "If you had an option to kill yourself, what would it be?" Or something about Bobo or something.. LOL, it was fun. In the end, Merv's dad came to fetch him & ZX back home.
