Shooting, shooting & more shooting.

Okay, here's the thing. Yesterday, was the first day of our shoot of the film: "Red String". At first, we had troubles in trying to find casts and a location to film. But since the cast problem has been resolved, the only problem left was the location. So me, being such a nice person, decided to offer my place as a location to shoot. At first, I thought I made a grave mistake. But eventually it turned out great. And I had a lot of fun with them at my place.

Okay, firstly I would like apologize for not making an entry yesterday, I was too busy shooting. Anyway, yesterday was great. The crew and cast came to my house for filming. When they came, they were carrying HUGE briefcases and bags (& a trolley.) So I led them in. (You can imagine the mess they made.) When they were inside, they kept telling me that my house was nice and such. Not trying to boast or anything, but I ignored their compliments. Maybe its because I live here? And I've been looking at my house since I was like.. what.. 5? Anyway, Eric, Fuad and myself, sat down on the couch to start thinking of what scenes we should do today. While the rest, went into my room to play my guitars. Eric focused on the morning scenes first, since we need it to look like 'morning.'

Shortly after, the cast, Salwa & Elizabeth (our producer and Art Director) arrived. And they were very efficient. Elizabeth started on the props and make-up, while Salwa was readying the paperwork. I hafta say, I was impressed at that time.

Soon after, we were about to shoot our first scene, which took place in my living room and the cast watching TV. We took about.. 8 takes? Because Fuad wanted to experiment with different angles and such. Not too bad. The second scene was kinda short cause it only involved a phone. Not too bad also. But when the third scene came.. Bad. I shall not blah about it.

Anyways, after the whole thing, we ended at around.. 11.30pm. And my house was a friggin' mess. Luckily, Elizabeth & Kristy, volunteered to stay and clean the house. Such nice people they are. After they went back, I did some more cleaning, and went to bed. Hey.. I was tired.

Today, the crew & cast are coming again. I just hope they don't make a mess like last time. Let's pray for the better yeah?

P.S. I just wanna thank the people who cleaned my house after the shoot. Esp. Elizabeth & Kristy. You guys were a great help. :D
