Ready? 1.. 2.. ...Wait!
That's probably one of the most common phrases I've heard today. Anyways, today was the LAST day of shooting. That means we're supposed to finish the shoot by today. Luckily, everything went according to plan.. Well, not really.
Firstly, I would like to thank & congratulate everyone that helped / acted in the short film: "Red String". Without your help and cooperation, we wouldn't be able to accomplish it. I've met many friends along the way. (Sort of.) Basically, I would like to thank them here. Really hope you see it. :D
Rayner: Hey! Thanks alot for coming down to cast in the film. Honestly, the first time I saw you, I thought you were a full-time gangster. But after getting to know you, your actually a very nice guy. Thank you for telling me about your 'life-story' and such. I really appreciate the 'open-ness' that you gave me. Stay cool, and remember: the 4 P's.
Cheryl: "What the hell?!" That was probably the catch-phrase of the day. Haha, sorry that I couldn't talk much with you. Really hope I could though. Anyways, your prelims are coming up right? Be sure to study HARD. I'am sure you wanna rub that "A+" thingie in my face. Oh and another thing, thanks for the card and the lollipop. Even though I won't eat it.. Uh.. Thanks anyways. :D
Janice: Lol. Thats all I can say. You're probably the one who usually brightens up my mood most of the time. Even though we made you go through hell, with the make-up and the blood and stuff. You never fail to wipe that smile of your face. Don't ever change your ways, cause I'm sure the crew enjoyed your happy-go-lucky mood, apart from me. Stay happy! And.. Always remember Alicia. :o
On to the shooting, today wasn't so bad. Even though we were in a rush to finish it. When morning came, the only thing that came to my mind when I woke up is.. FOOD. Yeah, food. It was probably cause I didn't manage to eat much yesternight. Anyways, thankfully, Cheryl (or Janice) volunteered to buy some burgers from Mcdonald's for us. Such kind people they are. Well, that was one problem out of my mind. When they came, they immediately sat on my couch and started watching TV. While me, Fuad and Rayner whipped out the burgers and began stuffing it into our mouths. After that appetizing brunch, we were ready to shoot.
After afew scenes, the battery of the camera decided to "go into the light." So we took a one-hour break, while we allowed the camera to revive itself. During the break, the crew decided to slack infront of the TV, while I went to bathe. When I was out, Rayner came rushing to me saying that he wanted to learn: 'Thunder' on acoustic. So I sat down with him and thought him the song. He was surprisingly easy to teach.
After the break was over, we continued shooting.. And shooting.. And even more shooting.. Till it was like.. 9 plus at night? We were supposed to finish like.. 7 hours earlier. Well anyway, we continued shooting and stuff. Until it was time for Janice to get make'd-up'd. Which bought us another.. hour to slack and eat? So we did. I don't know why, but I just felt really moody at that period of time. I just felt like sleeping and not talking to anyone. Weird me. Yeah well, we continued shooting and shooting till it was time to go back.
P.S. I'll probably upload some photos of the shoot whenever I get them from Fuad / Kristy. Till then, please be patient.
